I want to introduce Passion Africa to Africa Rural Connect (ARC)- sponsored by the National Peace Corps Association. ARC is an online collaborative community that allows people around the world to come together and discuss their ideas for the advancement of Rural Africa. This website links members of the African Diaspora, Peace Corps Volunteers, Development Professionals, Africans across the continent, and others with an interest in Africa.

We are holding a competition, ending in November, offering funding to the top development plans that grow out of the collaborative work we are seeing on the site.

We have already awarded prize money to our top three 1st Round Winning Ideas. But there is still time to bring YOUR ideas!

In the spirit of this joint effort we would like to reach out to you and members of your community to invite you to join the global discussion! Offer your insight, experience, and even ideas of your own. Your idea has the chance of winning funding! Please, let anyone who you think could contribute know about this opportunity to have their voice heard. Every individual- student, farmer, businessman, and every organization- for-profit or non-profit, is welcome!
