About Me:
I'm Brandi! I'm married to Greg and have 3 kids (2 homegrown and 1 from Liberia) I am annoyingly passionate about Africa (at least I think that's what others think of me!). I think God will probably call me to stay in the US, at least for a while, to raise money for African causes and projects. My first tries at this are www.IdrinkbecauseIcare.com, www.kidslake.org, www.becauseeverymothermatters.com, www.ImThirstyToo.com and Well projects on my blog! Praying for God to use me to bless others. . .

Looking for Kid Friendly Projects

I am researching projects to feature on KidsLake.org in the following months. We are looking for GREAT organizations that are reputable and help kids. The project also has to be "kid-attainable" in pricing. . i.e. $10 for tuition. . .something under $10 per piece (not sure what word to use there!).

If you know of something, please email me. We are looking to feature a different country every month. We'd love to feature projects such as: feeding programs, aids relief, medical anything (vaccinati… Continue

Our first large project to date has been our House of Faith Orphanage in Silembe, Zambia. Eventually this project will be home to 72 children. We have our 1st home completed, with 4 boys living there thus far, and the second home is nearing completion. The boys have been blessed to live there.

Our bags would be plenty big for books. We have a heavy bag made out of thicker material that might work better for heavy books with sharp corners. We will get you a heavy bag for the same price as the regular bag. Call it the "Passion Africa discount".
You could order it through Kami. We are giving $3 for every bag they sell for the orphanage project. Then your bag would have their logo as well as our logo on it. Then you can give Orphanage Project Liberia as shout out as well as Africa Bags when you go to the library.

Welcome Brandi
ilove your comment "annoyingly passionate" some of my friends refer to me as "all African all the time" it's a blessing. Last couple of Wend. nights we have hosted a dinner at our church for 4 African projects we are working on, one hour both dinners I looked around the room and the only one's left were thoise of us who are working on projects in Africa and Passion Africa Members

Did I ever tell you that someone bought a bag from the Africa Bags link on your blog? It was a girl from Louisiana that was surfing the web. She didn't know you but had come to your site and saw our link on it. From there she went to our site and bought a bag.
I thought it was amazing the coincidence of it all. We didn't know you, she didn't know you but some how it all came together! So anyways, a belated thank you for the link on your blog.

Brandi, I appreciate the comment you make of being "annoyingly passionate" about Africa.
I resemble that comment. I sometimes feel as though I am unable to communicate properly with those that aren't into Africa like I am. I need to work on this!
