The Kyangwali Women's Microcredit Project is located at the Kyangwali Refugee Settlement in Uganda. The project was started in 2007. Loans have been given to 40 women.These 40 loans have benefited 166 people, including the women and 128 Children.
The Kyangwali Refugee camp was established in the 1960s; currently there are approximately 18,000 refugees living at the camp. In Kyangwali there exist income producing opportunities such as raising vegetables, chickens, and goats for resale. For creative woman there are other money making opportunities.
OK, so we have 45 people that are coming to the benefit dinner so far, and 2 are Jeremy and I. If you are available August 9th please consider coming. If you know anyone that lives in the Northern Colorado area please tell them about it.

Have you heard of Kiva? If your micro lending group meets their guidelines they will fund all your loans. People like me log on and loan money through them to micro lenders all over the globe. Their site is KIVA.ORG All the info you need ios on their site.
