About Me:
I'm a Colorado boy, married to my wifey for over 30 years. This network is a brilliant idea, Todd. Thanks. I love anything that has to do with the outdoors, fly fishing, mountain biking, drumming, backpacking and enjoying God's Creation. I am still recovering from a near fatal bike/auto crash (the auto won) last August and am headed to Kyangwali on 31-May along with Beth, Aimee & Claire. This will be my first trip to Africa but I have a feeling that it won't be my last! We may be retiring from our Corporate Lives within the next few years to do the Africa gig. God is driving that direction. My wife is the brains behind Think Humanity & I'm just her worker bee. I really believe Bono when he said that "this could be the generation that puts an end to 'stupid poverty.'" Beth I have two wonderful kiddies (grown up by now) that also live in Colorado. God Bless ya, Todd, for setting up this website!

"It’s not a coincidence that in the Scriptures, poverty is mentioned more than 2,100 times. It’s not an accident. That’s a lot of air time. You know, the only time Jesus Christ is judgmental is on the subject of the poor. "As you have done it unto the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me." [I] believe that's Matthew 25:40". Bono's Keynote at the 2006 National Prayer Breakfast.

Post Africa, a changed Western Perspective...

My problems…
I’ve just returned from Africa and now have this startling new perspective. I knew already of this perspective, but not from a first hand experience. Now my eyes have seen and all of my senses are acutely more in tune with reality…

I awake to the soft music of my alarm clock, nestled in my Queen size bed in a beautiful house where the air is always at 70 degrees and clean. My feet touch the carpeted floor as I stretch and I put on my comfy bathrobe to make my way to my bath room. I… Continue

Hi Jim,
I just met with Colette Macfarlane concerning Step Into Africa at Crossroads. We are trying to figure out a way to involve Passion Africa with the exhibit. She told me you are in charge of the volunteer sign up for the event. A couple questions:
Will Beth and or your self be able to come to the Passion Africa meeting on Friday and let us know what we can do as a group and/or individuals to help?
If you can't attend, could you send me the pertinent information and I can talk to the group about it.
I can't believe how fast things have snuck up on us! I hope to see you at the Johnson's on Friday.

OK, so we have 45 people that are coming to the benefit dinner so far, and 2 are Jeremy and I. If you are available August 9th please consider coming. If you know anyone that lives in the Northern Colorado area please tell them about it.
