Benefit Dinner Results

The benefit dinner was amazing. It looked just how I had imagined in my head, but turned out to be even more than I had dreamed. I can not thank every person enough who helped us with even just a moment of their time. Go to our website to see how much was raised, and check out our thermometer!!!

I also put a post on my personal blog about the dinner. I tried to capture what I saw.

Kami --- if you ever have art auctions again to raise money for your organization, please contact me at jrharrington55@hotmail.com. I have a large stone sculpture hand carved in Zimbabwe that I may be willing to donate for your cause. Good luck. Janet

Hi Kami, Do you still have art auctions to raise money for your organization? Also, is Passion Africa a non-profit? Thanks. Janet

Hello Kami,
Thanks for the add! I'm glad to see that your work on your organization is moving along. I'm sure that you saw my post on the Africa Rural Connect project that we here at the National Peace Corps Association are working on. Our site launches in just two weeks (it's so exciting!). I would love for you and Jeremy to get involved in the community we are building! ts a great way for people who are concerned and interested about helping the rural poor in Africa to come together and share ideas and transform them into viable action plans. You can join our mailing list at AfricaRuralConnect.org so that you can be informed when our site launches. If you know anyone else who would be interested, just send them our way, hopefully we can get enough like minded people to create something innovative and effective.

Hi, Kami,

I would very much like to help with the summer project. My dad is very ill and my first priority right now, but chances are I can be of some help. Please keep me in the loop.

Thanks,

Mollie Painton

You can easily make your tee 'form fitting' by running a simply curved seam up each side of the tee......that's what I do

me too---i like them to fit and not be all lose and baggy. I will let you know as soon as i get it. can't wait! so cool that they designed this for TH so that we can help the new refugees in the camp. They are sleeping under plastic and no way to keep out mosquitoes.

will you be going to the First Presbyterian Church tomorrow night? Just wondering. I would like to go but it depends on the weather and all. I just got my malarone and typhoid meds from Dr. Reents and he was in Nigeria for a month with Faith Alive - just got back Saturday.

Kami, i ordered a girls medium and i hope to get it soon. I will let you know as soon as i get it. I know, I love the color and i think that the continent of Africa will be really cool b/c it's sort of an optical illusion. This is a Christian organization and they will be going to Spririt Fest concert to sell these on World Malaria Day, which is super cool for us. If you go to the website I think you will be impressed with what Dallas says --why I is doing what he is doing...it fits my thoughts exactly and I am sure that you will agree too. I also think its clever what they put on the back side. Thanks Kami, you are certainly an example of "how I want to be one day!"
