Hi Mollie
Thanks for your interest and willingness to work in Africa. I believe the answer to your many years of been drawn to Africa has finally come. There are countless doors that are opened for work in Africa. The Liberia Education Project warmly welcomes you on board to help us with the social and educational needs of the disadvantaged and war affected children in Liberia.

Mollie,
I am so glad that you are going to get more involved with Passion Africa! I can't wait to talk with you more about what you'd like to do. I leave for Africa on Saturday March 7th and will not be back until April 2nd. Hopefully we can have a meeting or something after then.

I'd love to have lunch. Let us get this shipping container sent off, it leaves on the 20th, and then I will be free until we go to Africa in mid-late March. We will be there for 2 - 3 weeks when we go. We are praying that we can bring the boys home on that trip, but we don't know if that will happen yet.

I don't know where the meeting will be. I've emailed Russ to see if we can use his office building again, but haven't heard back. I'll post it on the home page as soon as I know.

We usually meet on Fridays but this time we had some conflicts and pushed it to Saturday. We usually meet once every 3 or 4 weeks.
We had a big community Africa themed Christmas party on Dec. 19th so leading up to that we were meeting about every 2 weeks. The frequency usually depends on whats going on.

We started PA last March with out any expectations or ideas where it might lead. The group kept growing and growing and we ended up deciding to start doing some formal things such as meetings and events. It really is an amazing group of people that makes up PA. I feel humbled when I am around them!

FYI Ray Tollison, from Loveland, is building a school in Rwanda. Frances Feeney also does work in Rwanda.

Your description of some force that is driving you to do something in Africa sounds familiar to the feelings I had that made me start Africa Bags. There was something that drew me to wanting to do something there.

Actually, watching a documentary called the Ghosts of Rwanda, about the genocide, was my tipping point and my call to action. I hope to visit Rwanda some day.

We would love to see you at the meeting Friday!
