About Me:
My husband and I have become immersed in reading and educating ourselves about the orphan crisis in Africa. We are in the slow process of adopting from Africa but really have to pay off some debt first. We are completely passionate about helping, can't stop thinking about the children that need help, but are also completely overwhelmed with how and where to help.

Teri,
So excited to hear that you want to adopt from Africa. Have you heard of Shoehanna's Hope, Steven Curtis Chapman. An adoption funder, Look them up on the web.
I worked at Hanna's Orphan Home last year when I went to Ethiopia. Please look up HOEMinistries.org they are doing some great work. Contact me anytime. My husband and I are going back to Ethiopia next summer.

Dear Teri, I couldn't help but absolutely adore that picture of the children. Welcome to Passion Africa. Think Humanity is in the process of finishing an orphanage building for children age 5 and younger. I also love children and orphans. My mom was an orphan and I work at a preschool. You might want to talk to Lisa Jacquay on Passion Africa. She is trying to adopt an African refugee boy named Mumbele from the refugee camp where we have our non-profit. You could encourage each other. Welcome and I am sure PA can answer the question on "how and where to help!"

Welcome to Passion Africa. Try to do something everyday for Africa , if we all just worked 1 hour a day helping we could lift a lot of people out of poverty. I also would suggest that one of you go ASAP and witness first hand what Africa and grinding poverty are like , it will rock your world and change your family forever. I take groups to work in a christian Aids clinic in Nigeria, you do not need any money we can show you how to work with our team and church on fund raising. You can make a big difference by going and giving them HOPE and LOVE.
